It is Etsy Monday here at the drawing diary so here is my delve into the huge lucky dip that is Etsy to find today's pick.. Sarah Giannobile, such lovely work! The independent artist in South St. Louis says: “Some of my paintings relate to my memories of my childhood and returning to the farm in St. James, Missouri. I frequently visit my hometown and am inspired by old buildings and places that I would photograph and draw when I was an adolescent” explains Giannobile. “Much of my work focuses on lyrical abstraction and this sometimes hovers between drawing and painting.”
The drawing below is just lovely, so intricate and detailed, I'm won over.. Lots more about her at her etsy shop.. http://www.sarahgiannobile.etsy.com.
